-Reports have come in stating that former CAROLINE BLUE drummer Kenny “Thunder” Simpson passed away earlier this morning at Crouse Hospital. Reason for death is unknown at this time. Kenny was the drummer for CAROLINE BLUE from April 15, 2003-August 26, 2003. He only performed one show with CB, which was at Mr. C’s in Baldwinsville, NY on June 13, 2003. Kenny was also in one of CAROLINE BLUE”s music videos-“Mine, Mine, Mine.” He was very proud of his performance in the video and never failed to tell me how that video made us “rock stars.” Kenny was also a member of several CNY bands including Holly & New Yorkers, Alecstar, Tempter, Nightmare, 200 Proof and more. Services will be this Friday Oct. 14 at Newcomer Funeral Home from 11 AM-1 PM.
R.I.P. Kenny…
