-Last night, CAROLINE BLUE opened up for the band Bad Alice at Schultzies in Phoenix, NY. When CAROLINE BLUE hit the stage, they became CAROLINE KISS-performing an all song KISS set (w/ one CB tune thrown in). It was a great success & went over very well. CAROLINE BLUE 
Hey everyone!
-Here’s the recap of our crazy Halloween night at Schulzties in Phoenix,NY. This night, CAROLINE BLUE decided to do a Tribute to KISS. We did a set of KISS songs-save for one CAROLINE BLUE original-while wearing KISS Makeup. Now, in the past when the band has done this, I’ve gone with a full costume and platform boots. Since the other guys didn’t have costumes, we decided to just wear the makeup and KISS T-Shirts.
-We were opening up for Bad Alice this night. I got there a little late-it took me longer to get the makeup on and I wasn’t able to get out of work early so I did the best that I could. I guess there was a little heated discussion regarding space on stage, before I got there, but it was all evened out and the show went on.

-Overall, I think we did pretty good this night. 1st of all, none of our makeup made impressions of the incredible melting man so that was good. 🙂 And I wasn’t wearing platforms so I didn’t have to worry about falling (my wig-on the other hand-was a different story-HA!). Some of the songs were a little looser than others. “Heaven’s on Fire” didn’t come off too good and I take the blame on that one. I gave it a shot though-no guts no glory right? Course, having my guitar cord come out right at the beginning helped too 🙂 “Creatures of the Night” was also a little rough, but things started to get into gear with “Strutter.” I think we did good on all the others.
-During ‘God of Thunder” the Andy Man did some blood spitting. I have to say, with the pedals he has, he really got the sound of Gene’s solo pretty good. Joe B. did a little drum solo during the same song. Joe was dressed as The Fox and did the name good. Andy sang on “God of Thunder”, “She”, and “Cold Gin.” I started singing “Rock & Roll All Nite” but had Robb from Bad Alice come up to take on those vocals. We had John Ferrara (The Aylist) filling the role of the Space Ace and he did a great job.Amazingly, this was the 1st night all 4 of us were in the same room.
-There was a good sized crowd here and we got a great response from them. I want to thank everyone at Bad Alice, Schultzies & Station Sound for having us here this night. I want to give a big thanks to John F. for playing with us-it was a blast! And yes John-you ARE the reason why women show up at Aylist shows! 🙂 And I want to thank all the wonderful people who came out to check out 4 misfits in makeup (HA!). Pics should be up soon. I know Ray Ray was here and I can only imagine how many pics he got.
