-Recently, Facebook teamed up w/ Spotify-a place where one can easily listen to the music from a huge multitude of artists-one of them being CAROLINE BLUE! So for those of you who use Spotify, listening to some CB is as easy as typing their name in the search box and hitting enter. Songs from the CDs “Slave to the Hourglass” & “Not For The Innocent” are available for streaming.
-CAROLINE BLUE has been written up on the Japanese website “Breath-Fresher.” In addition to this, 2 of CAROLINE BLUE videos are featured-“I’ve Seen The Light Tonight” & “Pain.” Check it out on the VIEWS page.
-Two CAROLINE BLUE songs-“Dead or Alive” & “Our Love is Wasted” are featured in the new comedy web series “Fail Man” by MAD ANGEL FILMS. In addition, I play one of the lead roles in it.
-The new CAROLINE BLUE Music Video “I’ve Seen The Light Tonight” by SRS CINEMA LLC has been released! Filming for this started in March 2010 when the line up of me, Doc & Joe were still together and they are in this video. Filming was finished in November 2010 and now it has been released! Check it out!
-“Inside” (Deeper Mix) has just been released. This is basically a heavier, deeper version of “Inside” that was recorded back in 2007. This version uses 5 string basses & 7 string guitars-which helps to give it a little bit of a modern feel.
-A new concept video has been released from CAROLINE BLUE! This is from the song “Stay” by SRS CINEMA LLC. It’s called the “Paid The Electric Bill” Mix because this version has electric guitars in it-the version on the NOT FOR THE INNOCENT CD does not.
-On June 16, filming was done for a new music video for the song “Dead or Alive.” The shoot was done in Syracuse, NY by Ron Bonk of SRS CINEMA LLC. Joining WWJ was Erik Strail on drums & Rocky Graziano on bass. Pictures of the shoot can be seen on the CAROLINE BLUE FACEBOOK PAGE
-I was invited last month by SYRACUSE NEW TIMES Music Editor Jessica Novak (pictured w/ me above) for a photo session that the SNT was doing on musicians / bands in the CNY area. Not one to pass up an opportunity to pose (HA!) 🙂 I agreed and had dozens of shots taken by photographer Mike Davis. I was told that I would have access to the ones that they weren’t going to use and, if so, I will post them up for all to see. As is, I just have four pics from this day-all of which can be seen on the CAROLINE BLUE FACEBOOK PAGE Thanks to Jessica & Mike for all this-hope the pics came out good!
-Last night, CAROLINE BLUE was one of 20 other bands who performed at the 2011 FINGERLAKES METALFEST in Clyde, NY. Joining me onstage this time we Mike Smith on drums and Johnny Sniper on bass. Pics can be seen on CAROLINE BLUE FACEBOOK PAGE. Video was taken of the show but, admittedly, the sound quality isn’t very good. Might put up some clips on You Tube anyway-keep on the look out!
